Google Will Soon Allow Users To Make Voice Calls Directly Via Gmail

With this new feature, users would be able make and receive calls without requiring to switch tabs. It also announced that all G-suite customers who have Google voice licenses would be able to avail this feature and make voice calls directly via their inbox. This feature would roll out on June 3, 2020.

Additionally, users would now be able transfer calls using the Google Voice mobile and web apps. Users just need to follow a few simple steps and they’d be able to send a call to an appropriate person. This call transferring option is now available for users in Voice on Android, iOS, and the web. The feature is going to be available for all voice customers by default.
